Ripton Lodge stands in two acres of land and is situated on the edge of the small Cambridgeshire village of Abbots Ripton, close to the historic towns of St. Ives and Huntingdon and only 4 miles from the A1. The single storied building will sleep up to 30 people and is fully equipped with 24 mattresses in two dormitories, 6 beds in two bedrooms, 3 showers and 4 toilets plus a purpose built disabled loo/shower, a large kitchen with 6 burner cooker, three sinks and a fridge-freezer. The activity/dining room has tables, chairs and a small carpeted area with easy chairs.
The camp site, which is at the rear of the building, has its own toilets, shower and solid shelter. Equipment is available on request. The site is secluded with fields on three sides.
Archery and pioneering can be arranged on site and there are swimming pools and sports centres in the adjacent towns. There is a ‘Trim Track’ in the grounds and games equipment including a parachute and various giant games is provided. There is also a large BBQ available and a campfire base.
